Starting Wednesday, January 29 the Association will begin the required inspection of the Fire Safety Systems at each building and unit. The inspection will require the building fire alarms to be activated and a visual and physical inspection to be done at each unit, including the fire sprinklers.
While a building is being tested the alarms will remain active and sounding, we anticipate the inspection could take anywhere from 30 – 45 minutes per building. All residents need to make sure the management office has a current key on file or will be available on the scheduled day and time to allow the inspectors access to the condo. The inspectors will only need access to the condo for approximately 5 minutes. When they are finished in your unit, we will no longer need access to the condo, even though the building alarms are still sounding.
